Stater of prawn cocktail at £7.95 is grossly over priced for a couple of lettuce leaves, handful of small prawns, some mango and a dribble of shop bought sweet chili sauce. OK but not for a place like this. Main courses, two were sent back as the chicken was clearly re-heated and now chewy. Replaced with two other dishes. Mum in Law had lasagne, rubbish, not hot, clearly made in a large dish and reheated, how about getting a chef that can actually make individual meals and present them properly. Took my dad here for Father’s Day lunch as we had not been since it has been taken over. We were welcomed and shown to our table over looking the marina which was stunning. I ordered the prawn cocktail to start which was so refreshing and a lovely alternative to the traditional prawn cocktail. For main I had the Korean steak sandwich. I wasn’t sure how the Korean take on a steak sandwich would be but it was delicious, the waitress told us the meat was from the local butcher which was a nice touch to know the food was locally sourced. There was also a lack of entertainment provided for young children while waiting for their food. The previous owners managed the restaurant much more efficiently in our opinion. While the main menu offered a variety of dishes, it lacked excitement for our group. The long wait between ordering and receiving our food, about 45 minutes, was particularly frustrating with young children in our party becoming impatient. Despite booking our table for 5pm, a seemingly quiet time, the service was slow and the restaurant was not overly busy. Overall, the lack of attention to children's needs and the slow service would deter us from returning to Buckleys at Chartroom in the future.
Visited for Father’s Day dinner. From the set menu we ordered an anti pasti board to share and a soup to start. Both of the starters were well sized portions and we all enjoyed. For mains we ordered lasagne, chicken in leek and mustard sauce and a steak pie. All of the mains were full of flavour and we all enjoyed our meals. Staff were very helpful and attentive making sure we were enjoying our meal and ensuring we had everything we needed. Very happy with our visit and will definitely be back in the future.

Absaloutey delighted with our service last Saturday within the chartroom Our food was delicious! Full of flavour and served in a timely manner! I believe the chartoom has been taken over and I was overwhelmed by the positive , friend atmosphere and with how hardworking the staff were! So attentive , despite being extremely busy and run off their feet! Will definitely be back!! Well done chartroom staff, keep up the hard work , you are certainly making customers happy , welcomed and delighted with service!
The food was ok but the service made it the worst dining experience I have ever had! Being told to get my own drink from the bar is unusual. We were nothing more than an inconvenience to the other waiter who served the meals and didn’t come back until we were finished.
Very nice food, I had cod loin in coconut Thai juis. Lovely restaurant and views. Music was loud and pop- detracted from the charm of the place . I considered moving seat but speakers all around. Would prefer laid back calming music chill out tunes, low in background
The staff at this restaurant provided excellent service, they were very welcoming, attentive, and polite. The food was delicious, and there was a great menu selection. This was our first visit, but we will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to others.

The food at this restaurant is top-notch, with a pleasant atmosphere and plenty of gluten-free options. The staff is outstanding and I highly recommend it! Plus, the prices are very reasonable.
