It was a Saturday afternoon, so rather quiet which may have helped us get served, relatively simply, and quickly. Unlike a previous visit when we chose eggplant parmigiana and it was clearly pre-cooked before we arrived and then clearly microwaved and served to us cold, this time we all ordered item we felt could not be pre-cooked, I.e. pasta, chicken masala, and baked stuff shells, French onion soup, and Caesar salad (too much dressing). The food was piping hot and delicious and none of our entrees were cooked ahead of time! A success!
That old-school feeling that comes from going here since I was 4 yrs old. Service has dropped off a bit over the past couple years. Was upcharged for the seafood Diavlo by $20 when I saw $51.80 on my bill. I asked the young girl if that was correct? Replying yes as prices had gone up. But when I came back the following week, it was still priced at $32. Minor but concerning, yet it will still be the restaurant I come to with my family.
First time in 24 years that we had a bad experience. Waitress was horrible forgot apps. Then brought out wrong app. Never offered more drinks. And food arrived less than warm.. no she wasn't busy. I watched her stand around too much and she spent a lot of time at the 5 top near us whom then left her a 27.00 tip hope it was worth all the effort she put in...
Pros: Our dinners were tasty, and the wine pours were generous. Cons: The bread was like something you'd find at the grocery store, and my dinner was served about 10 minutes prior to my husband's dinner.

We had a Celebration of Life here; 78 dinners. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. The service was great. They worked with people who had dietary restrictions.
we had a tasty lunch with related. our waiter was attentive and eating was fantastic. the chateau never disappointed.
all well, eat not as hot as should, but overall very good. bar was excellent service for drinks before eating!
Food was good : as expected. Ambiance was okay. Seemed space for customers for such a large place.
