Lovely, traditional, well appointed village inn across the road from the Church. The en-suite rooms were well furnished with comfortable beds. We had the full English breakfast the next day which was excellent. The staff, led by Ellen were friendly and helpful.
We had a great time at this charming pub. We had a few drinks outside in the garden and a light lunch. The bartender was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in the area!
I often stop off here on a Friday after work, The staff are lovely, the beer is fab. I've yet to try the food but plan on coming back with family. Well worth giving it a go. Just a few mins off the A 37.

Great beer great wine nice price . But holy moly £4 for a slice of quiche. Get the groccles!!!Will be back for more drinks less food!
Lovely pub, very welcoming staff, cheesy chips and a pint on a warm evening in a great location, you can't go wrong.
It was very empty, with us being the only customers, which made the atmosphere quite quiet.
