5* service of kitchen and bar staff. unforgettable and unique evening back in september 2020. would recommend everyone. the incredible chefs of the chimney house dreamed and prepared a fabulous five cures Saturday night extravaganza for our bands of landlubbers. major kudos is guilty of the challenge of transforming a fresh catch into a lush menu, it was from the park! our haul from 'peng' fresh makrele and six plage was transformed into tasty ceviche tacos, perfect bbq 'd makrele with plums, delicious fish sliders, hearty cannellini bean, chorizo makrele we would not have asked for more from the kitchen that everyone was thrilled by the creativity and direction that was delivered all night....
Anniversary and birthday celebrations so wanted a decent night out. Faffed about for a while for the upmarket places downtown without success. Staying in an Air BnB a couple of miles from town. Ran out of time, strolled round the corner and in desperation, settled for the nearby pub. Fell on our feet. Lovely staff, friendly locals, tasty food. Then out they came with the candle and a rendition of 'Happy Birthday '. My wife normally avoids that sort of thing but that just capped off a delightful evening. Thank you The Chimney House.
honestly one of the best sunday roasts I had in brighton! I had the boiled to perfection, it melted in her mouth, but then the skin was so crispy. the bratkartoffeln were delicious, but wished there were a few more. there were a few small carrots on the side that were also nice, but I hacked there to be some more veggies. No matter, everything on the plate was so delicious and well cooked. I couldn't stop thinking about these frying so that I can definitely come back!

The food at this restaurant is consistently exceptional. The aged pork chop is generously sized and accompanied by delicious cavolo Nero and incredible gratineed potatoes in a savory sweet sauce. The chef clearly knows what they're doing, as the meal is truly unforgettable.
Absolutely gorgeous venue. Excellent service. Great chat and vibes from the servers and bartenders. The roast and recommendations for wine, aperitifs and desert was honestly divine. I thoroughly appreciated it. The roast was truly indulgent. Can't say much more to commend.

The food was not very satisfactory. I ordered the top side of beef which was tough and chewy, not as advertised. The gravy was watery. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant.
