My wife and I travel all over the world and stay in beautiful hotels. We decided to try The Cholmeley Arms as it was very near to an early morning meeting. Tbh we would normally have stayed in a larger hotel. We were glad we gave it a chance as it was fantastic. Great room, very clean and comfortable. Great, no, amazing food, we had dinner, which was fresh and delicious, plentiful, along with a fantastic menu. The breakfast was the best we had had, eleven out of ten. : Staff, awesome and the owners are very friendly. We are both looking forward to staying over again. Well done!!
Fantastic food and service. Considering the current problems of staff shortages, the management has done wonders with their staff, both kitchen and serving. The guy and girl on duty tonight (Thursday 21 July) were exemplary. Polite, very helpful and considerate. The food was all absolutely delicious. Full marks to all concerned. A beautiful little country pub,with fantastic gardens and a farm shop thrown in. We stopped here overnight on our way home from holiday with our dog and they couldn't have been any more accommodating. Lovely spacious room and absolutely great food and staff, we will definitely recommend and return.
Arrived on time for table only we waited 50 mins for meal. Would have been nice to have been told by staff we will have to wait as they had a large party of people earlier. Food fine though mixed bean chilli needs more beans alot less tomato, and sweetcorn in a chilli is a first for us!
We took a friend who has significant allergies and the service was great. A friendly and very competent waitress took the order and worked with the chef to work out how to accommodate the allergies. The food here is always delicious and plentiful but this service was outstanding
Always such a fabulous choice of delicious food, fantastically fresh and hot but also great value for money. Without a doubt one of our favourite pubs in the area. It's very popular so make sure to phone and book ahead for a table to avoid disappointment!
Great village pub. Food was amazing and the prices are good for the quality of food and service you get. The farm shop and butchers on site are very good too with a wide range of ambient products available and a good selection of local quality meats.
Enjoyed this little gem so much that I've returned several times. Wonderful rooms. Delicious breakfast. Good food with varied dinner options. Great pub with lots of outdoor seating. Beautiful village surroundings. Very accommodating hosts.
Beautiful rooms, location, staff and the food was incredible! Breakfast was served fresh every morning! Would 100% return for a relaxing getaway!
