A very old premises that provided an atmosphere list in many newer pubs. The car park was not terribly large so arriving early in the evening is advisable. Very friendly and accommodating satff welcomed us immediately with very helpful direction for seating. Food was superb and very generous, delivered by polite waitress who checked with genuine concern for our comfort. A quiet and lovely atmosphere made for a very pleasant evening. Thank you.
OK. Went for a meal at Easter been a few times before and from memory food was better and more choices. Main menu has not changed for a few years. In addition some menu items were unavailable and they were running out of some choices even whilst we were there. Don't think I'd go again...
We Had our wedding reception here, and it was amazing we had a buffet, dj and garden games Karen, Simon and their staff were fabulous and our day was perfect.
Very friendly staff, tasty food, lovely and cosy place dog friendly , big garden.
