CLOSED ! We had booked a table for Wednesday 28th Feb as we understood the pub was closed Mondays and Tuesdays. We were asked for confirmation two days before which we confirmed. We went today, and they were shut with no message on the door . Looks like all the bottles have been removed and disappointed as we had to try and find somewhere else to eat this evening.
Amazing food, had the Cote de Bouef and what a steak that was!! cooked to perfection, lovely sides could probably feed more than two with the generous helping of chips and side salad. The team working were very attentive and always looking to see how they can help, very proactive but not intrusive. Highly recommended.
What a lovely traditional country pub. Excellent friendliness and service. Lots of places to sit and still see the views. Beautiful food at reasonable prices. I've added a picture of the menu but I think it's subject to change. Plenty of outdoor seating too. Food started at 6pm.

What an amazing evening once again for our Christmas meal for the train team at CWP. The roast was delicious as was the service. First class meal and evening, would highly recommend.
