The waiting staff were lovely, friendly and attentive. I don’t like giving poor feedback but the food, however, was not so lovely. Shredded venison was what was served. A cut of venison cooked medium rare was what had been anticipated. Average food at London prices. So very sorry I could not be more positive.
Despite confirming my booking a few days before when I arrived at for brunch on sat March the door was locked. I called and the chef answered we're not open until the staff obviously chose to party the night before at the expense of customers. I won't be going back
This was my first visit to Clarence Social; really liked the look and feel of the place; the food was really good and staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back

Having confirmed a reservation through Open Table when we arrived, there was no trace of a reservation being held but it was sorted quickly
