I ordered food from The Clove restaurant and paid for the food and delivery fee through the app. However, I received a call from someone at the restaurant after my order was accepted, and I was threatened that if I didn't pay extra money to the driver off the record (not through the app), they would cancel my order because my address was too far away. The person was very disrespectful when I refused to do so. I don't see any reason why I should pay extra off the record if I'm already charged a set amount for transportation on the app. They canceled my order immediately, and now I have to wait 3-5 working days for a refund, so my money is tied up. How can they ask to be "bribed" just so I can...
After reading a negative review, I decided to give this restaurant a try and found it to be quite the opposite. I ordered a curry and it was the best one I've had in Mansfield so far. As someone from Birmingham, I've missed having a decent curry and this one definitely satisfied my craving. The bhuna I had was lovely, not quite like home but still delicious. The service was good, the prices were reasonable, and the food was great. Overall, I was very impressed with The Clove. Well done!
The worst Indian I have ever had. The food was so greasy it was inedible and the prawn saag had two prawns in it. The customer service is even worse. Phoned to make a complaint and he basically put the phone down on me. Please spread the word as I do no want anyone else going through what I did. There are plenty of great Curry places in Mansfield. DO NOT use this one
wow. I just had my first Indian from the klove. absolutely delicious. the lamb simply melts in the mouth. the Nan-Brot is also Georgian. fast delivery and in the time for ant and decks Saturday evening take.. Many thanks for their help
