We went there to hear my favorite band and I have to say the place is beautiful and it's spectacular. And even after waiting 2.25 hours for food the food was delicious. The reason I gave it a three was because they knew they would get a big crowd with this band they shouldn't have offered food that night because they didn't have enough waitstaff to even get anyone a drink. I heard their was an emergency in the kitchen and I'm not surprised because when you don't have the help and you're trying to get food for that many people along with the presentation of the food no wonder someone could have a heart attack. Went to the Highlands for the first time. Food was okay, nothing special. The waitress was very slow and rarely came back to our table to check how we were doing. (We we’re only one of two tables at the time so they were not busy. . The worst was the bartender through a fit and was screaming very vulgar profanities. Here we were a table of retired women who did not appreciate the loud, clear language nor the yelling. Will not go back again.
The owner seems to be quite deceptive. The five-star beef served at your wedding likely came from Aldi or Sam's Club. The couple clearly tries hard to present themselves as high-class but falls short. They’re not far removed from their humble beginnings, despite their attempts to portray a different image with nice floral arrangements from Big Lots.
I go to Highlands quite often on Friday and Saturday nights to hear bands and dance. Food is very good. Service is awful! They never have enough staff. Sometimes you don’t even get waited on!! Takes a long time for food to get to your table. It’s a shame because it is such a nice place!

Poor management no one knows what tables there suppose to wait on.Waited 2hrs just to get a drink.Food is average sometimes good other times undercooked
I went to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and the food was absolutely delicious! The waitresses were also very friendly.

Very nice place the food is good and the golf course is very well maintained.. they have pools and a hot tub to relax in..
The food here is quite disappointing. They should consider hiring better chefs.
