My husband and I decided to grab dinner together. I mentioned that I was craving noodles and sauce, so I was anticipating a dining experience at a restaurant that sounds like "shmolive harden." Instead, we ended up at Club Car. I was pleasantly surprised by the upscale lounge atmosphere once we stepped inside, especially considering the unassuming exterior and its location in a strip mall. I chose the evening's special, shrimp primavera, while my husband opted for beef stroganoff. Both dishes were delicious, and I ended up finishing mine instead of taking leftovers home, which I don't mind at all! This restaurant has quickly become our weekly favorite. The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and inviting. The service is consistently excellent, just like the food. Everything is reliably outstanding. If you're a bread lover, you'll really enjoy the delicious bread served with your meal! I ordered the Chicken Parmesan, which I will definitely get again, while my girlfriend had the Alfredo Pasta. Of the two dishes, I preferred the Chicken Parmesan, but both were delicious.
The food has really gone down hill. Tasteless no thought. The balsamic vinegerette reminded me of a bad store brand with bad balsamic. The NYStrip steak was tasteless and pricy, and the broccoli overcooked from frozen. It LOOKED sad. My salmon had more dinner plate than salmon. The bread basket should have never left the kitchen it was so pale and lonely undercooked. It looked like an oversight. We've been coming here for years. Too bad. We won't be back.
I had the surf and turf. The food was delicious without being excessively salty or covered in sauce. It was just a really good steak and some good shrimp. Food very underwhelming, not hot, poorly cooked, small protein helpings, potato burnt and cool. Service average. The place is looking tired out. Their outdoor sign is broken. Overpriced for what they serve.
Love coming here. The prices are decent but could be a little better, and the food is good. They have great drink selection and a cozy atmosphere with good service.
We tried this place on a whim for lunch. Both meals were excellent, service was great and the ladies room was clean.
