What a great lunch my wife and I enjoyed on Monday September at the Coconut! If you’re downtown in Kamloops, looking for a great Indian lunch or dinner, you’re missing out if you don’t stop at The Coconut. We were greeted and taken...to our table right away. The waiter was attentive and keen to answer any questions without being intrusive. We had a great chicken Saag, with Naan bread for dipping as well as some rice and an order of samosas. Sometimes I find that a vegetarian friendly place tends to be a bit cheap on the protein when it’s part of a dish. Not so at The Coconut! There was plenty of chicken in there. Lunch came promptly. I was expecting fast food because of the set up in the Victoria St. food court, but it's like having a take out window at your favourite Indian restaurant. I had the butter chicken, of course, which was excellent. The food court has set up...its tables for good physical distancing and all protocols seemed to be observed.
Waited for over half an hour for our food. Only one friendly waiter. It was cold so ordered chai, had to wait for my chai which came just before food but was Luke warm. Food was good but disappointed with the fact that others were...served before us as they had pre ordered? Or well known??
One of the best Indian meals we have ever had! We stopped in Kamloops for a quick lunch on our way to whistler and luckily stopped here. So tasty, value for money and lovely friendly service! If we lived here we would be there all...the time!!

Our first out of town trip during the pandemic and our first night away we looked for a restaurant and decided to give this a go. Lovely! Outstanding dinner and very friendly, safe service. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.
I believe this is one of the best Indian restaurants in Kamloops! Had the best Palak Paneer ever this afternoon. Enough for me to take home for another day. Yumm.
