As a previous customer at park view chippy for over 25+ year but now with new owners the food is dismal! That if I could give them a -5 I would! I was recommended this chippy by a friend and I love it! Being busy with work and Xmas atm I have ordered 3 in the last 4 weeks! Lol! First order was cod and chips but then tried cod bites! Out of this world! For 5.50 for 3 they are pretty big compared to most I have had and the chips are outstanding! Only one glitch from these 3 orders is the last one they sent gravy instead of curry sauce! But how good the food always is I let it slide ::D
Generally a good all rounder I love the layout and branding of the business the staff were friendly the portions were nicely sized; the cods could have been better prepared and seemed quite hard probably due to being frozen and was quite oily which was unpleasant. The tartar sauce was very tasty and had a homemade taste with all the good stuff.
Very poor quality chips and rotten. When I complained to the shop, there was not much concern, and I was told there was nothing they could do about it with an attitude. I would never go back to that fish and chip shop again. Used to be one of the best but has deteriorated. Photographs don't lie.
Food was average, the main server thinks he’s a comedian but he’s not that funny in my opinion, the fish was very oily and batter was thick and hard, chips were reasonable, for a total of £10 could find better

Was Visiting My Old home Town lastweek, and had to pay visit to my favourite chip shop Ordered large cod and chips, portions are generous. Fresh and delicious as always..
Great take away. good quality battered fish, not greasy, tasty batter, good fish. Good chips too. Large portions. Quick service even during a busy evening time

Staff is so nice, friendly. Fish and chips well very delicious. They use fresh fish , not the frozen one. Best fish n chip shop in the area.

Best fish chips I ever had! Crisp butter on the cod crisp but fluffy inside chips. Absolute delight
