First time here in Trowbridge, best fish and chips I think I've ever had! Got chatting to the lovely lady whilst she was serving up our 2 large and 2 medium fish and chips, I starting coughing quite bad, and bless her opened up a bottle of water and gave it to me! Thank you for saving me! But the food, great portions, not greasy, just simply the best fish and chips I've ever had! The large is massive! My husband couldn't eat all his chips! Will deffo be back for more, recommend 100
Today I went to codfather to try one of their roast dinners. I have heard good reviews about it locally. It lived up to its reputation. I had lamb. It was all delicious. I left nothing on the plate. The staff are very attentive and friendly. I would recommend trying their roast dinners. 100
This evening I ordered a large cod and chips, sausage and chips and 2 drinks. The fish was a very big size for the price, and tasted great. The customer service was excellent and the young man who served me performed excellent customer service. 5-stars all around in my point of view.
Solid 4 stars : Very good, tasty comfort food for a cold overcast November afternoon, I was recommended the Codfather combo of Tea, Cod, Chips, bread n butter icecream to finish. This charming restaurant is run by a delightful family. The food is consistently delicious, and the staff is very friendly. I always end up with more food than I can handle, but thankfully they offer takeout options as well.
Fish and chip ship with tables so you can eat in. We had the special of fish and chips, with a side, bread and butter and tea. It was very nice.
Such a lovely friendly welcoming restaurant. Food was good home cooked food and at a very reasonable price. Will definitely be going back
