I went here for the first time recently while visiting some family. My first visit in the morning was absolutely amazing, both people at the counter were so friendly, talkative and welcoming (even though it was packed). I liked the drink and atmosphere so much that I went back with my family later that day that experience was completely different. There was a girl behind the counter who was very abrasive; she made zero eye contact, and was very annoyed at everyone and everything. I usually eat out 5 times a week. This place will be one that I’ll never visit again. The young Black American female working the front counter has awful Customer Service. I observed her laugh and take in what the White American’s had to say, but when it was a Black American Person, her demeanor changed, not in a good way. I decided to reach out to my entire family friends that live in Portsmouth to ask if they ever had a bad experience with this Young Lady. My family members confirmed exactly what I seen. Never been to the coffee shop. Til a favorite band the 'Lazy Dangers ' announced a acoustic show. Walking in the ambiance is fun, friendly,comfortable. Nice wood floors and a fun coffee bar. (They were serving spirits as well!! The employees were so nice!! The coffee and food was great!!! I got the veggie wrap and the Irishman coffee drink!! Highly suggested!! Had a great time, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

i cannot express enough how much i love this place !! i love their green tea and iced coffee. my go to is an iced coffee with caramel and cookie butter syrup (try it, it’s amazing). if you’re looking for something to eat, i recommend the buffalo chicken wrap, turkey melt, or blt. the staff are always friendly and timely no matter how busy it gets. support this awesome local business !!! Really can’t give a full review because all I ordered was an Everything Bagel with butter. The bagel was only ok because the texture felt like a grocery store bagel verses a freshly made one. New York it was not! Service was quick and the employees super friendly. I’m only giving 2 stars for the atmosphere because the place was smoky and I walked out smelling like fried food.

I really hate to ding the place, but I ordered a decaf latte with an extra shot of espresso. I'm pretty sure it was one-shot caf one-shot decaf, then topped off with milk was very weak, flavor wise

My Pesto Chicken Flatbread was delicious. The chicken was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Been going here for several years but today I was impressed the most. Great job.
