I had been in this pub for a while, but my family and I were on the way from cheltenham to Westonbirt at 17 o'clock and called for an early dinner. all four of us said that the meal was faultless, we enjoyed all three courses and cannot praise this place enough. such a great atmosphere, cordial greeting from the incredibly fabulous staff and a seat directly at the log tariff. what more can they demand. it is easy to find, beautiful location and has plenty of parking right next to the pub. in summer there is a large garden back. in februar this is the place to eat when they go to visit the colesbourne snowdrop gardens that are right in front of the house and not to miss. the menu at the coles...
Very clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Wine list should have been updated didn't have 3 of our choices. Bar closed at 10pm due to staffing issues but could take drinks back to your room. Food good but nothing special. I had vegetarian breakfast, disappointed 2 small tinned tomatoes, spoonful of baked beans, half a mushroom, poached egg. Only two slices of toast each. Not offered any more or any more tea and coffee.
do not let the look of exhaustion on the face of the involuntary they are involuntary! this is a beautiful, friendly place with excellent eating and comfortable beds! look at the terrace seating for bird watching! extensive wine selection. did I mention that? the locals travel here a distance to eat. we were sad that we could not add a day yet, but they were fully booked. highly recommended!
The Colesbourne Inn was great from check in to check out. Room was clean and comfortable. The pub/restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. Bar staff were very friendly. We had bar snacks and starters they were hot fresh and tasty. Breakfast the next morning was great with a wide range of choices. excellent breakfast and dinner. spacious, well furnished room. good bathroom, including bathtub, instead of just one shower. simple parking space. the kisses would have been more comfortable, we found the lighting in the room to be poor, and the television was not straight on the wall and could have been better quality.
Stayed for a night while walking the Cotswolds and what a gem of a place. Nice staff,good ale and really fantastic food. Compliments to the chef as it really was superb.The rooms were also excellent so all in all I can't fault the place. A lovely countryside pub.
Located in a beautiful part of the country, the hotel and its surrounding facilities are well kept. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. The food was very nice and well presented. Great value for money.
Immensely slow and rude server. Pub was dreary and depressing inside and food wasn’t great either. Went a couple year back and liked it but after this time I will never go again and nor will the people I went with Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Fab, had coffee by the fire at lunch time and then went back for an evening meal. It was delicious, the staff were friendly and happy. The best steak I've had in ages. Couldn't have asked for more. Well done!
