The quality is so consistently great that you can expect the same taste even at the 10th order of the same dish. Must try Palak Paneer, Missi Roti, Biryani and Khatta Baigan, jeera aloo. This review is specifically for tawa parathas that were made specially on request and were not on the menu. It was a lovely weather to have tawa parathas (toasted stuffed Indian flat bread) and Mohit was kind enough to make an exception and get paneer paratha and onion parathas made. Thank you so much to the chef and all staff of Not just curiries to bring authentic Indian food to our doorsteps. Bless you all!
Excellent food and even better service. Lamb korma was succulent and melted in my mouth, the Butter chicken was tender and full of flavour as was the Shahi Paneer (Cottage cheese, cardamom, yoghurt, cashew nut, and cream), the Garlic Naan bread was amazing. Lots of different vegetarian options also. The deserts were also fantastic. I highly recommend Not Just Curries Balmain.
This is the Indian food we have been waiting for in Balmain/ Inner West.. Such an improvement to the previous venue and really great Indian food from our first experience.. Can’t say enough about this place finally bringing quality back to where it should be. Very happy they are in Balmain, definitely get on board if you are local and keep them around.
I had a fantastic takeaway experience! The fish curry and baigan patiala were absolutely delicious—fragrant and spicy without being greasy, and the portion sizes were generous. The naan, pickles, and sides were all great as well. Plus, they offer a discount if you spend over $50, which is a nice bonus.

The food has a flavor that closely resembles what we enjoy in India. I will definitely return for the Gobi Manchurian. The staff was courteous, and the dishes were served promptly. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
