My partner and I recently celebrated our engagement party in the Scylla Bay room at the Como Hotel, and it was truly wonderful! The staff took exceptional care of us, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the event. They even assisted with the setup and provided us with lovely items to borrow on the day, such as a beautiful wishing well and vases. The food was incredible—honestly, the best we've ever had at a function—and many of our guests echoed this sentiment, praising the meal as well. The view from the room is absolutely breathtaking; I highly recommend hosting during sunset. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and felt very well taken care of. A huge thank you to the team...
I have always been a fan of Como Hotel. Since its refurbishment, it has transformed into a straightforward pub with a reasonably priced bistro. The food is good—while it's not gourmet, it is definitely better than typical pub fare. It’s served in a timely manner, and the vegetables are prepared nicely. The atmosphere is rustic, with no attempts made to enhance it beyond practical considerations. The staff was friendly and cordial, and they were attentive enough to take the time to address requests, even when they were busy.
I was here for an event so my review is based on the finger food we had. A great range of delicious canapés including sliders (beef or fried fish), some spicy duck pancakes, haloumi and stir fried vegetable skewered as well as some delicious porchini mushroom Arancini sticks. All was vey tasty, presented nicely and the waitresses were lovely and hospitable. Great venue with a nice atmosphere and view. Packed for a Sunday afternoon. I'd love to be back and try some main meals.
I absolutely love this place! The food is amazing, and the view is stunning. It’s also perfect for kids, thanks to the gated play area where they can have fun while you enjoy your meal. We often come here for lunch. Today, I had a flat tire, and the incredibly helpful manager even offered to change it for me while I went upstairs with my friends to eat! The service is outstanding! This is definitely the best pub in the area!

Had our family Christmas dinner here, 12 of us. Lovely friendly service, beautiful food, gorgeous ambience dining outdoors. This restaurant is a favourite for our family as we just love the atmosphere and ease of dining. Thank you, I'm back in a couple of days to celebrate my work Christmas party! One of the best venues in the shire, certainly the best in the immediate local area. Thank you.
Recommended by a friend. Excellent pub food. Great specials on each day. We had the Tuesday night $16 dinner specials. My barramundi was lovely and the chicken schnitzel was great too. The $10 desserts were amazing! I had the flourless chocolate Mud cake with icecream!!! So filling but so worth it!!! The service is excellent too.
Great venue on beautiful day yesterday for our lunch. Food was excellent, we took up the Ladies Wednesday Special which also included a glass of French Champagne extra special. Would highly recommend this establishment. The staff were wonderfully friendly and engaging which made it even more special. Thanks for a great day.
Sadly the restaurant was hit and miss when it came to food. In the end it was predominantly miss and we stopped going. It was such a shame as it is a great location, overlooking Scylla Bay and the Georges River.

A great family pub.. food is always lovely, service is great... and the atmosphere is always fun. The only thing I would say is bring back the pool tables
