Finally, a fine dining experience that turned out to be as good as expected. The ambience was intimate, and the seating arrangement meant that each table had their own privacy. The noise level was also pretty good, didn't have to shout to speak over other diners. Service was friendly and attentive, as expected in this type of restaurant. The was a good serve of complimentary bread with butter. We didn't go for the degustation option and chose a la carte. We had the Black Angus Ribeye and the Pan Fried Snapper as mains, Seared Scallops as starter and a side of Roasted Baby Beetroot. We went for the Mother's Day high tea. The service was the most stand out factor for us. They went above and beyond in every way from providing chai lattes (which were not noted to be included in the package) and offering alternatives for Mum who couldn't eat something in the sandwiches even though I never advised of food issues during the booking. They were attentive, polite and helpful and I would go back for the service alone I haven't seen that level of service in Perth in a long time The high tea was decadent, I'm sugar overloaded but I'm pretty sure that's the point of a high tea. Each item presented was of exceptional quality. I'll certainly be returning for a meal.
we visited opus with the expectation of perfection and received nothing less. arrived on a Thursday evening this place looked all the class and worthy every celebration, special event or date night. the tasting menu with French origin and modern Australian fresh aromen with the best Western Australian ingredients was fantastic and took us on an amazing food trip that lived to boast on its website perth’s glamorous dining experience service was excellent as they would expect in a fine restaurant. what a fantastic night and the experience we had in the opus restaurant.
As a small group, we recently took advantage of the Thursday Degustation Special for $80.00 per person(excluding wines). Outstanding from start to finish. Superb/sublime surrounds, excellent, polite, very professional wait staff. The menu begins with small tastings, building to larger portions, and deserts to die for, or perhaps die of, as a result of their richness. Rich identifiable flavours, superbly cooked and presented. With seasonal menu charges, and at the normal price of $135.00 per person, this is a great dining experience. Highly recommended.

I have no hesitation in saying that it is the best restaurant in Perth. The restaurant is a classic, but it surprises with the boldness of its menu. The service is excellent, very attentive and professional. Friendliness is a hallmark of this house. The wine list has choices for all tastes that go well with any option on the menu. I highly recommend it!
It was an incredible dinner my steak was beautiful and moist and so easy to cut. The dinner was incredible and visually beautiful. The trout was well presented on a hot rock and went down easily. (Not the rock) all guests enjoyed the evening.
Extraordinary. Degustation for 2 with matched wines. Simply outstanding. And Emmanuel's knowledge of the wines was incredible. Some of the best food I've ever had. Bravo!!
my wife and I went to dinner for a special occasion and we had the revelation with matching weeps. the meals and service were absolutely excellent. highly recommended.
