Hits the Spot on Barbeque Ribs n Meats! The setting is downhome n waiting staff is taking everything from the facility also the feeling of this place does not feel like in Ct, but in the Smokey Mountains it has a nice bar as well as a top floor for a more private or too easy to enjoy the place! I have heard from this place for a long time n it was not disappointed n it was the ride of N.Y. n to discover I look forward to too many returns if you are looking for a Great Barbeque place, check out the Cookhouse n a Great country place n music then this is the place for you! Just WONDERFUL!
I visited this restaurant for the first time and had a fantastic experience. The bartender was very friendly and accommodating, showing great patience as we made changes to our drink orders. I tried the Prime Rib, which was expertly prepared. It had an excellent smoky flavor and a beautiful smoke ring, seasoned perfectly and cooked to a lovely medium-rare. After my visit, I highly recommend this place to several friends, and I will definitely be returning. I also noticed that the kitchen uses top-notch equipment, indicating that there are no shortcuts taken in their food preparation.
I have been going here for 13 years and still don’t know if Fat Tommy is a real person. Always a great experience when at The Cookhouse. Everything is made from scratch right in the kitchen. Whether a date night, birthday celebration, or big group of people The Cookhouse is always a hit. Still a great value after all these years. The menu changes every so often, you will never run out of great options. Wednesdays are all you can eat night. Go hungry and you will not be disappointed. Great staff, full bar, and catering available.
This restaurant is truly fantastic; both the food and the staff are consistently excellent. Whether you choose a pulled pork sandwich or a combination plate, you won't be disappointed. The nachos are incredibly delicious—definitely the best I've ever had—and the loaded potato skins are fantastic too. My fiancé loves this place as much as I do. Even though we live in Wolcott, it's worth the drive because the food is just that good.

Note to self: go eat at The Cookhouse more often! I haven’t had a cheeseburger that good in a LONG time, and my wife loved her pulled chicken BBQ sandwich. The desserts (a lava cake and Oreo Pie between the two of us) were fantastic. Pricing is more than fair for the quality you’re getting, and you can’t beat the atmosphere inside. Highly recommended.
The interior of this restaurant is stunning; their website doesn't quite capture its beauty. I tried the slow-roasted smoked chicken, and it was outstanding! I highly recommend this place!
We had a surprise 60 last week. Birthday party with the Cookhouse. The food and smoke master Dave were great. Everyone carved about it. I recommend the Cookhouse for all your catering.
Excellent BBQ. Portions are large enough to share. Corn bread was very good. Cole slaw wasn't good at all. Friendly staff. Clean place. Fair prices. Peach cobbler was amazing!!

Haven’t eaten here in many years since I moved to the other side of the state. Wow the food is as good as I remember. Excellent way to end a trip to my old stomping grounds!
First timers. Yummmm!! Brisket ribs were melt in your mouth tender juicy. We WILL be back!!
