There's a little hole in the wall place is definitely one of the better places that you can get Hispanic food in Kansas City for an affordable price. They were super nice at the register, and it was very homey vibe. The Tres leches was extremely good and everything else that I got was pretty good too. I just can't remember exactly what I got but honestly whatever you get from there is going to be well seasoned and taste really good from my experience. If you have high blood pressure though, definitely be a bit careful and make sure that you water up some so that you don't have too much salt content.
Food was fantastic. Being our first time there we tried multiple items. Very fresh and authentic, great flavors. Tacos were great. Three street tacos with fresh tortillas. Meat was incredibly tender. Steak burritos were huge and filled with mostly meat, not rice. Nachos were covered in toppings. It's a small place but worth waiting for. The owner was incredibly nice and spent time talking to us about food and his background. He is clearly very dedicated to providing the best possible product. Will be going back for sure.
It was a cold day so I was craving pozole. This place did not disappoint. Small little 8 table restaurant, has seating outside as well. They have great customer service, very friendly. The pozole was delicious, came with all of the fixings. You get choice of tortilla or bread, I was not sure what the bread was so I chose tortilla next time I will get bread it is toasted and looked really good. I can't wait to go back and try more of their food. And get more Pozole!
This was THE BEST authentic mexican food i've ever had! we got the Cochinita Pibil on tacos and a burrito and they were both amazing! the food was reasonably priced and we got a really good portion size. The owner came out from the back to talk with us and make sure everything was to our liking Great atmosphere, great food, great service, great prices i could go on and on. We will DEFINITELY be back soon
I'm not a huge Mexican food person but my husband is and we BOTH love this place! Locally owned and absolutely delicious! My favorite are the Carne Asada Tacos. Their homemade salsa is the best around. Don't underestimate the size of the tacos either, they are much more filling than they may look! They have a little outdoor patio, which is great when the weather is nice!
What a wonderful family owned traditional Mexican restaurant in Mission! The family ordered street tacos, enchilada's, burrito, and quesadilla. All were fantastic, fresh, and cooked to order! Was able to wash those tacos down with a cold corona. Might be a tad on the pricey side however the love that goes into the food was worth it!
I ordered the steak fajitas to go. For the price you get both quantity and quality. I ordered chips and sauce so I got to try both the green sauce and the red sauce. The green sauce is milder and the red sauce is hotter but not to hot.If I am the area again, I will definitely eat here. Locally owned and operated.
This was a great find for unpretentious tasty tacos. The cochinita pibil tacos were incredibly juicy. The chille relleno had perfect texture. Salsa could use a bit more heat, but worthwhile. All around nice place with terrific service!
Couldn't say enough good things about this place. Food was amazing, service was on point, my boyfriend and i are on the way to becoming regulars. totally recommend ANY burrito from here
