The Counting House

I am annoyed with The Counting House as the concept of a classy wine bar as my local is attractive. It could be an amazing place for locals and visitors to the area if they could get the service and the Menu right. Food is nice, reasonably priced but the service is shocking. Two recent visits items were missing from the meal with an explanation of Sorry we have ran out . We have been here a number of times and never had a bad meal, service is great and the choice of drinks is really diverse. It may be small but it has a welcoming atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble, allergies are catered for, you only have to ask. We will be BACK!
