The pub appeared impressive in the photos, but our experience on Monday evening around 9pm was disappointing. The pints were fine, but the service was lackluster. The bartender seemed disinterested and treating us like a burden. We decided to finish our drinks and go elsewhere. We probably won't be returning anytime soon.
This is probably the best pub in the area. The service is fast and friendly, even when the pub is busy. I picked this place for its wide variety of beers and because it has accessible toilets, which is rare in the City. I hosted a drinks party here for 25 guests, and everyone loved it.
We had a wonderful evening in the Angel room celebrating my wife's birthday. The service was impeccable and the room was of high quality. The pricing was very competitive and we will certainly be staying again on our next trip to London.
