The sparkling nonalcoholic wine was absolutely disgusting (so tart that it wasn't drinkable). The stuffing and Wellington bland to the point that salt and pepper were requested. The potatoes were amazing and the kale Cesar salad was okay. Service was great. Unsure why we were seated in the middle of an empty restaurant and a second group sat right next to... in the empty restaurant. Awkward. Also, tables and chairs were so close together that the server tripped/kicked them a couple of times while navigating around them. Would I return? No. Far too expensive for mediocre to low taste food.
Our server was great! Our orders were served at the right temperature, our beverages were kept filled and the entire experience was memorable. I did add a note about the occasion as there was a space for it when booking the reservation. Just a little blip as there was nothing mentioned by anyone . ?? All in all, a great evening out!
The food was great but the service was terrible. The server didn't come to the table in a timely manner, forgot to bring a drink we'd ordered then didn't come by for some time. Our empty dishes were left on the table for a long time before they were cleared and then only because we waived the server over.
Came for the Sushi and Izakaya night but was kind of disappointed by the sushi and nigiri. The rice used was mushier than I liked. We went with their AYCE which let us try a lot more food at an awesome price. Their mushroom tempura and their beach front hot pot were our favourite dishes or the night.

It was good but despite telling staff there was no paper towel in the bathroom it remained that way for the 2 hours we were there. I found the music too loud to talk at our table. Food was very good though.
The reason why the review is so low is because we had such high expectations from our last visit. Unfortunately, we found the thanksgiving menu to be very underwhelming compared to the regular menu
My first trip to The Coup was excellent ... the drinks were on point and the food had a wonderful complexity of flavor. The staff were super!
Over salted food. Way too much soy/hoisin sauce, drowned out the other flavors. Server brusk.
