Just slipped in for a pint and a bit of food . Chips were Sound and my pannini was ok . Main problem was the loud noise next to me . 12 girls giving it their all and everyone has to talk over each other .
The pub is decent, but it could use a refresh as it has looked the same for years. The staff is friendly and there is good entertainment. I visit every Monday and Friday for card bingo.
Bar was ok, the staff efficient and a good choice of beers. The pub just seemed a bit flat with no atmosphere ,despite it being fairly full. Perhaps we just called at a bad time.
The pub itself didn’t smell too good, service was poor took a while too take our drinks order the bar was pretty much clear. Food was standard.
