This was the third and last visit to this establishment. The first time we went was a year or so ago and the burgers were amazing. A few months back we went back for steak, and was disappointed with the lack of service. The waitress just pointed to the table and threw the menus down. She was more interested in social media on her phone. The steak, half hour later was great, but served with McCain fry chips! £35, not value at all. We thought we give it another go for breakfast, big mistake, ruined our day. There was a table of four and us two. Six of us in total, so thought services would be swift. Want as a family group with small children. The staff were really friendly and pleasant but unfortunately the food did not live up to expectations. It’s hard to actually explain what the issue was but more thought needs to go into the presentation and perhaps the menu needs to be tweaked a little? For example the spicy glaze was so hot it spoilt the taste of the food, the venison burger had no seasoning and was served in a cold bun? The children’s burgers was just a well grilled burger in a bun which was not visually appetising to a small child. We haven’t been there for a while but this visit was not up to the standard of our previous visit and unfortunately I can’t see us returning anytime...
First time at the cow shed, and it really was a 10/10, the beef wedge with potatoes and veg was spot on, there was so much meat I couldn’t eat it all so took it home in a napkin for my do-dos. The beef was absolutely gorgeous, no nasty fatty bits running through it, just tasty beef, I loved it, the rest of my party had burgers, gammon, beef, and lamb and not one moan about the food from any of us. The girls serving were on the ball and extremely helpful and polite, really lovely staff. Desserts were nice and yummy too, honestly have a meal there you won’t be dissapointed it was the best meal Iv had out in a long time and worth every penny. Decided to give this place a try as we was in the area, now I only really write reviews on trip advisor if places are 5 stars or 1 star. I ordered the sirloin and asked for medium rare, after 45-50minutes our food come out, my steak looked dry so I thought I’d flip it to check it out, one side was dry looking and the burnt side had been placed down on the plate to hide it. After waiting this long I told the staff we were leaving, on leaving we were asked if I was going to pay for our two cokes? No apology, just am I going to pay for the drinks…. No, no I’m not, you’ve already wasted an hour of my evening! Worst steak house I’ve visited in Kent to date. See picture for reference!

What a great little local spot. We found this place via google and the menu looked great. We emailed after booking to make sure they could accommodate and they were super friendly and helpful. When we arrived, it did not disappoint. The staff were so attentive and kind, nothing was too much trouble. And the food, well, the portions are huge, the selection is decent, we love that the meat is from a local butchers and it was so tasty. They were also great with my husband's dietary requirements. Although it is not cheap, we found it great value for money because of the quality and portion size. What a gem. We will definitely be back and thank you to the hardworking team.
it was BOGOF on the bugers on deliverMOO on bonfire night so we took advantage of the offer. the burgers were HUGE and delivered quick hot. the only thing was my son's chicken burger was a bit over cooked and charred but i guess i'd rather have over than under, when it comes to chicken! we didnt have sides, just the burgers which came with fries, they were more than enough, really good big portions.
My family, consisting of four people, was extremely impressed with the food at this restaurant. The classic burger was a delightful surprise and undoubtedly the best burger I have ever tasted. Both my partner and daughter enjoyed the ribs and cajun chicken which they shared. The ambience was pleasant and the staff were friendly, making it an excellent choice for a family dinner.
Realy nice place to go. Been by untold times and always said we would give it a go one day. Both had steak which was spot on. Sat in udder bar out back which was nice, the girls put heaters on as it was a bit nippy. Realy friendly staff as well so couldnt fault the evening out, will def be coming back..

Very good food and customer service. Shame they don't have any beer on tap instead of bottles. Very well priced and potion sizes are very big. Only thing to mention on a bad note was the ribs I had were overcooked and didn't fall of the bone as I would have liked. Would definitely return.
My partner and I had a fantastic evening at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We are looking forward to visiting again soon!
