On Saturday 17th March 2018 we got married in Islington Town then we held our reception in The Chapel Bar. We all had an AMAZING time!. The food was delicious. We had the chicken and gnocchi and Wow they were both so tasty. We have never tasted chicken like it! The gnocchi was a very good portion to. The drinks flowed all night until 3am and nothing was to much trouble. The bar staff were lovely especially Leia what a lovely lady! Eilliot dashed out to get flowers for some of our guest. I had my 50th birthday here in the upper floor. it was the perfect size and to have the outside space was really great. it was a perfect night! Alex and his team ensured that we all had a great time and they were a central part of the experience. from andrzej to the dame, who helped us with the cake the kuchen spezialisten! .she was great and sorry that I can't remember her names, but above all sean, our amazing barkeeper took care of us very well from beginning to end and made everything so easy all night! We would thoroughly recommend this venue. Luke has been great, he has quickly responded to any questions we had. On the night, Ollie, the bar manager, ensured everything ran smoothly was extremely efficient, knowledgeable and allowed us to enjoy our night without having any worries. The bar staff were brilliant in serving the various cocktails, drinks as well as serving the canapés food orders. We just wanted to say a big thank to Ollie and the team who worked with us Saturday. We hired the downstairs of The Chapel Bar for NYE and had the best night! We organised our own music which worked perfectly well and preordered pizzas and other picky food from the bar, which was really good quality and went down a treat with our guests. Luke was also super helpful and flexible in terms of plans leading up to the party, and Nathanial was amazing on the night itself! The place looked beautiful too just after Christmas. Would definitely recommend!

excellent craft beer here, these youngs know exactly what they are doing when they are in london, they stop and check them, especially if they appreciate a great beer. the staff is knowledgeable and extremely helpful and accommodating. they have some food they can order, but if they're just over for a pint - they're already a winner. dear jambo.
great place to dive before they go to the city. finally attempts thornbridge breweries peanut butter brown ale that was sublime. a great place to try new ales related to quirky bier artwork and posters. all in the restaurant eating pizza that looked good, but we were there for the beer.
big party place. kapelle bar is a perfect place for private parties. I had my 30th birthday party here and it was really fantastic. friendly staff, good service, good size venue, great cocktails. could not recommend it better!
