5 of us for a 60th birthday lunch. One of the glasses had lipstick on it. One of the orders was wrong and then came back wrong the second time, so we gave up on that one. Another order was deemed inedible, they offered to replace it but we were pretty annoyed so declined. Two other orders were not served as per the menu, no beetroot. They got 4 of the 5 orders wrong. One of the servers stormed off when she came with a second wrong order, the rest of the staff, including the manager, tried hard but we had had enough. Paid for 3 of 5 meals and got out of there. Very disappointing experience especially for a significant birthday celebration.
My lunch experience at the Craftsman was an outstanding experience. I highly recommend this venue. A wide selection of beers on tap and plenty of other drink options available also. Our meals were presented well and tasted lovely. I had the Chicken Picante and my husband had the Rump Steak. We finished off with deserts, not that we had room for them, nevertheless they were lovely. The service was outstanding and prompt. We have been to the Craftsman on several occasions and each time the experience has been outstanding. I highly recommend this venue for a couples, adult family or group outing.
I went there for Lunch with my family. 3 of us wanted to order the Christmas special at $39 per head. And one member of the family wanted a burger as he had to leave early.They refused us the Christmas Special as the chef had instructed them it was to be all of the table for the Christmas special or none.We offered for the one family member to sit at another table to suit there rules. We then called the manager. Who could see our point but had to do what the Chef had instructed. And this is what they CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE.I don't think so.
After a movie session my family and I popped in for some dinner at The Craftsman. Pub grub on the menu. Not disappointed with taste or quantity. Our table ordered Bbq bourbon pork ribs and prawn with scallop risotto. The meat fell off the bones. Yum. Ribs came with a serve if slaw, chips and extra sauce. And the risitto was very tasty. Once finished the plates were left on our table for sometime. In fact we left before they were cleared away or asked if we wanted dessert or coffee. An extra pair of hands would have helped perhaps. Met up with some friends and had a great night. Friendly service and a meal that was not only tasty but filled us up and was very well priced. I had fish and chips and my portion was a really good size for $25. If you love dessert for only $10 you can get a dessert tasting platter. Sticky date pudding, apple crumble and chocolate cake, amazing value and very popular. I would highly recommend as a goid value place.
Came here for an early and quick dinner before a movie. We ordered 3 mains including the pork ribs which my sister could only eat half of as they were massive and swimming in sauce (with a pot of sauce on the side?!), steak with chips and salad and the Tasmanian salmon on a bed of mashed potato (yum!). Good service and atmosphere, would come here again
Have avoided here for a long time because of past bad experiences with food not meeting expectations and poor service. I am pleased to say that the food exceeded expectations. We did have a wait for the food to arrive (approx. 45mins) but it was worth it. So, if you are like me - give them another chance :-)

Quiet. 1430hrs. Service was more than adequate. Food good. Worth a try. There are lots of fast food places around the area. The atmosphere here is relaxed, altogether different from the noise of the adjacent mall.
