Exceptionally good food and good service. Menu on wall wasn't as clear though as prices were muddled up. Though they need to work on customer service as a young girl took me and she asked a lot of questions e.g would u like it small or big when I had said already twice. It got a bit annoying but all the other staff are excellent. Lovely food but too much salt put on when asked for a small pinch of salt. Overall it was a standard visit.
Very busy chippy, slow service. I ordered a cheese burger and I was asked if I would like cheese on it. I seen a few mistakes take place. Plenty of staff, maybe too many that could have been the problem. Phone never stopped. Saying all that if you don't mind the wait the quality of the food and portion size was excellent. A sit down place is available.
I went to get some food for dinner and was very disappointed. The onion rings were soggy and undercooked, and the chips tasted terrible. The chicken goujons were like rubber and the batter was awful. Overall, I feel like I would have been better off throwing my £23.30 in the bin, as that's where most of the food ended up.
As always, superb!! And Alistair, graced me with a hot cup of tea..... on the house. He could tell from my manorisms that l needed it, after a day in the elements up at the north coast, and looking like a rag doll. Enjoyed my gravy chip, with peas onions, having a fish on the side, thank-you, sir:
Excellent fries and everything that comes with them. Friendly and helpful service. Good value for money. I often stop by on my way home from work in Cookstown as it is by far the best fish and chips in the area. I have never been disappointed, except when it is closed.
I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is well cooked, delicious, and the portions are generous. The staff is friendly and the premises are very clean, with a nice dining area.
