The entire thing was HORRIBLE, NOT GOOD VALUE for Money at all. Food drinks: I attended a private gathering where the hosts had hired an event room, paid for antipasto platters, and paid for cake plating fee, when the bench top water at the bar was all gone at 8pm they did not get another one out or provide water some other way the staff members watched between serving mega expensive beers that several guests had tried to use the water and realised it was empty and offered no solution when I said is all the water gone they replied 'yes ' I assumed when they could in the next 10 mins they would get another one or refill it but no they didn 't. I arrived in Sale on a Saturday at lunchtime to join a group of 18. We were located in the 'Library ' room, a handy space away from everyone, still close enough to the bar for convenience. The staff were cheery and managed the large number of attendees well. The food disappointed. I had a Chicken Parma of decent portion and thickness which was overcooked. This renovated hotel is a gem. It was a great experience from the moment we checked in to the room to when we checked out effortlessly. The check in staff were pleasant and helpful. They took time to explain everything and make sure we were ok. The meals staff downstairs were great too. Attentive and polite. And the meals were fantastic. The room itself was full of charm, with modern touches. Clean and well presented. Happy to return again. This was a great overnight stay!
Had a beautiful meal at the Cri before heading out for an event. Food was delicious, service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Excellent dining service, great food. Jordan- the mad lad, helped organise a surprise desert with a candle for my recipients birthday, and the waitress brought it out at the perfect time. Everything went spot on. Thanks for the memorable experience.
Meals are on the pricier side, but tasty. I wish they had a mignonette sauce option for the oysters as I’m not a fan of the other options. Decent wine list and friendly staff. The dining room has a nice atmosphere.
