Lovely warm welcome at the pub, well frequented by drinkers and diners. Our booking was very last minute over the telephone. Our fish and chips were excellent with crispy light batter and succulent fish, plenty of fries, mushy peas, tartar sauce and a portion of scraps extra batter! Range of beers (6/7 including real ales and local cider yes! Spirits, included a wide selection of whiskys and gins plus non alcoholic options, broad enough to cater for most options!
This restaurant is extremely delightful with great staff and lovely food. They also have a good selection of beer. Plus, it's conveniently located just up the road from one of the best Antiques Fairs in the country at Burton Court. Don't miss out on the Antiques in Tents event!
I stopped by for a drink after a long drive, exploring the charming villages with black and white houses. The local pub was lovely, with friendly service. I enjoyed sitting in the garden, soaking up the afternoon sun.

Probably the best village pub in England. The ambience, the choice of ale and spirits and dining is truly outstanding.
