Great place to eat lunch in Kirkby Londsale with a separate vegan menu. The staff were great, welcoming and friendly, nothing too much trouble even though it was really busy. Lovely oat milk latte and chickpea and avocado ciabattayum. Not a huge sweet selection, but the owner said that was being worked on, so I'm sure they will have something lovely and cakey in the near future as an option. Dogs welcome too. In the back of the cafe there is a little wine shop and with organic and vegan wines for sale bonus! All in all, a great experience for our first eat out after lockdown and would definitely recommend.
I discovered this restaurant on Happy Cow while searching for a lunch spot off the A65. They have a dedicated vegan section on their menu, featuring a variety of brunch baps. I enjoyed a reasonably priced and hearty vegan sausage ciabatta, while my partner had a similar option with avocado and tomatoes. The cafe is friendly and laid back, located on the town square. The town itself is charming, with many interesting independent shops to explore.
This lucky cow found here if you're looking for a lunch break from the A65. Has a separate vegan section to the menu, mainly variations on a theme of different brunch bocps. I had a cheap and generous size vegan sausage Ciabatta, my partner something similar, but also with avocado and tomatoes. Friendly and put back cafe on the town square. The city itself was also very pleasant to make many interesting independent shops.
A small friendly cafe-come-wine shop in the market square. A vegan option on pretty much every part of the menu and not just an afterthought. My hubby and I both had their vegan breakfast and it was delicious. They no longer have the separate vegan menu mentioned by others but no shortage of vegan options. Beautiful small café with a separate vegan menu of about 8-10 options. I had the sabich ciabatta with Fritten, and only finished. Folged it with a folding jacket (fortunately the only 'Kissen' option) that was really good. Variety of milk alternatives. Booking recommended at peak times for tables of more than 2.
Really cosy and welcoming little cafe which was a great find as there are no exclusively vegan places in Kirby Lonsdale. We had the vegan breakfast and a burger with fries. Staff were very friendly and it was our first eating out experience since the restrictions were eased so particularly enjoyable.
Really great crusty rolls and delicious soup and fillings. Recommended if you're looking for something in the area.
