My partner and I stopped by this restaurant during our hike along the Woolhope circular trail for a Sunday lunch. I must say, this was hands down the best pub Sunday roast I have ever tasted, and we've tried quite a few. The garden offered stunning views, and they had a good variety of local drinks to choose from. The service was top-notch, with incredibly friendly staff. I highly recommend dining at this place.
The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the locals were friendly. After a long walk, we were in need of a hearty lunch by a warm fire, and that is exactly what we received. We didn't want to leave! Ross, our server, was a perfect host. This is one of the best places I have been to in a long time.
beautiful country pub with a good selection of wine, perry and beer. the lunch menu is much better than the standard-sub-grub with generous portions of good delicious food. the personal is friendly and offers a good service. great for lunch in the garden on a sunny day.
magnificent beer garden with views of the landscape, at the beginning/end of some great walks of land. beautiful selection at pub grub recommend the parmesan and pancetta pommes! the own “Kings Cider” is a real thirsty that can be enjoyed after a long walk. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Couldn't sit inside however got the set up outside well sorted. Helpful friendly staff. Food for a Sunday little limited but couldn't fault the freshly made pizza from the pizza oven. The Kings cider was excellent. A really nice place in a lovely village.
The Sunday Roast Beef at this restaurant is wonderful - the best yorkshires I've had in a long time! The Malbec was served at the perfect temperature, and the service was excellent. The cider was also fantastic!
an opportunistic fleeting visit on the route to worcs. a real gem of an ortes. beautiful ambiente, friendly staff a large pizza oven outside. look forward to my family next time for some pub dug!
