eating was creatiw, classic quality British when they want, and very pleasant. the inn was recently renovated and looks gorgeous. the personal is attentive, and the only scandal was that we missed the lunch, what we see as the most magnificent desert. bier, I had cookies, why not? was well poured and very tasty,
Historic building in an idyllic setting. The room had fabulous, antique furniture and the whole place is hugely atmospheric. The food was excellent and the convivial feel of a local Inn made a great all round experience. Highly recommended.
