I went to see a band called The Still, and I highly recommend catching their performance if you get the chance. It was refreshing to find a pub still hosting live music, and the regular patrons seemed to really enjoy it. The staff were friendly and efficient, contributing to a great atmosphere, and there was a decent selection of drinks available. The only downside was that although there was a hand pump, there was no cask ale; the options were limited to John Smith’s or Boddingtons, which I don’t consider to be quality beer, no matter how much I try. They’re definitely missing an opportunity there. Overall, it was a good night out! Price per person: £1–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Went to see a superb band, The Still. Lovely pub with a nice atmosphere. Good to watch the footy and it's good to see pubs that have regular live music. But what a shame that there wasn't any cask ale. There was a hand pump but not used and the young barmaid didn't even know what cask ale was when I asked her!!! Would love to go again but I would love to have a decent pint as well.
The live music was great, and while the place was busy, it didn't feel overcrowded. The Boddies were exceptional. Considering the crowd, the service was commendable. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. Price per person: £20-30. Service: 4/5. Atmosphere: 4/5.
Best pub in the area, nice and cheap with friendly staff and to top it off they arent stingy about you bringing in ur own food. Would reccomend Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
