Usually it's a fairly pleasant experience. Today was a Saturday, we showed up around 9:30, and I had an appointment with an insurance adjuster at 10:30. The front room was packed, so we figured we could wait for a bit in the car for an available table. When we got in and ordered, it took quite a while, so we asked for our food to go. This was largely due to the cook talking with her ridiculous and obnoxious boyfriend in the kitchen (a former roommate friend of mine). First off, only employees should be in the kitchen. We stopped in for breakfast as our vacation was ending with my in laws and we would be going separate ways after breakfast. Cute little place, nothing fancy. The breakfast food was really, really good! McKenzie was an attentive waitress and kept the coffee coming. The only negative thing was how long it took to get our food. 45 50 minutes after we ordered. If we are in the area, we would likely try it again if we aren't in a hurry. The food and friendliness made up for the wait, but we felt that it was unusually long to wait when it wasn't busy.
I dropped by the Crystal Cafe while heading to a nearby high school. The staff was very accommodating, allowing me to use their Wi-Fi to get some work done while enjoying breakfast. The prices were incredibly reasonable, and when I mentioned I didn’t have cash, the cashier kindly offered me a free coffee. She also directed me to an ATM down the street, which was really convenient. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and I appreciated that they had a special playroom for kids as well.
Stopped in on a whim with my mom on a roadtrip. It felt like being invited to a friend 's table. Owners knew all the regulars by name; almost didn 't have to take their orders. We felt so welcomed as the "strangers from out of town. "The food was absolutely fantastic! Delicious and home-cooked. I will definitely be stopping by the next time I 'm in this part of Indiana.

This is a great place for breakfast. They had everything we like in a small hometown breakfast. We love stopping in here on our way to Potako Lake.Eating an excellent breakfast is the best way to start your day.Parking: You can miss this place. It's across the street from the Post Office North Harrison School.
The food here is fantastic! Just a heads-up, it's a cash-only establishment, but there's a local ATM nearby if you need it. The service was also excellent. We’ll definitely be returning!
Charming little country restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. The waitress was friendly and attentive, and the home-cooked food was delicious. The prices were quite reasonable as well.
