This is definitely a pub for the indie crowd. They play underground music all night and provide information about local independent movies and theater productions. While it's a bit off the beaten path, located on Rectory Road off Cowley Road, it's a fantastic spot for those who love their skinny jeans. The beer garden is wonderful and accessible both day and night.
Love this pub changed hands last year but so far so great. Doing excellent beer and has a lovely garden, doesn't look like they've done much to nice pubby feel inside other than remove some sticky carpet to reveal lovely wood very pleased! Love getting take away Mario's pizza from around the corner to go with my beer!
I really enjoyed my visit! I had to navigate through the low traffic neighborhoods to get there, but it was definitely worth it. The atmosphere was fantastic, the beer was excellent, and there were no annoying distractions.

This is my favorite pub! It features a large garden, friendly staff, a great selection of beers, and it's independently owned. It’s a must-visit for anyone living in Cowley.
This is a wonderful place to visit. It features a lovely garden with plenty of space, and there are options for seating if the weather turns rainy.
Great vibes. Good selection on tap. Not too many undergrads. Doesn't close at 11pm (at time of writing review). Scotch eggs are to die for.
