Went for Saturday evening meal to use a gift voucher….Wow! Excellent meal, with lots of choice on the menu. Lovely staff all friendly and helpful. I had the Sea Bream followed by Rhubarb Elton Mess pudding and would highly recommend them, delicious and best meal I’ve had for a while. One dinner guest is a vegetarian and finds it challenging to find good vegetarian food and she commented on how good her meal was too! We visited here several years ago and were very disappointed and despite being local we kept away…..it has obviously changed hands now and is now very impressive, vibrant, busy, wonderful atmosphere and excellent food. Book early as is very popular and we definitely return again....
BEST PLACE EVER!!!!!! Came for my birthday and honestly the staff was amazing. Chloe, gracie and danielle delivered the best service ever!!! food was amazing too 10/10 so thankyou to the chefs!! and john on the bar delivered the best cocktails everrrr!!! Catered for 15 and honestly they made it seem like a walk in the park. Thankyou for such smooth service and excellent drinks!!! Had the best birthday ever all thanks to the dev xx
The Devonshire Arms is always so warm and friendly with amazing food and such friendly staff. Out with friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed our food plates hardly needed washing they was so clean enjoyed that much we’ve booked again for next week a big thank you to all the staff looking forward to next week
just had a wonderful night at the Devonshire arms trying there tasting menu the food and service was absolutely amazing the staff was very attentive and nothing to much trouble they really go out of there way and worth every penny of the 10% service charge i can’t recommend this place enough .

Been every week for the past 3 months and had the burger of the week nearly every week. Every single one has been out of this world. The bbq Chicken burger on the normal menu is absolutely beautiful as well. The new menu is great too, the 3 chorizos and the squid starters are 10/10.
What a great evening! We booked for Friday night live in the bar area for 4 and wasn’t disappointed. We sat bang infront of the singer, it was AMAZING service, our glasses were never empty. Excellent food and service. I agree with the service charge… the staff go above and beyond
Excellent meal had steak and ale pie which was really nice and tasty !! good atmosphere, staff are very obliging and helpful had some good banter with the red blades and blue owls Worcester sauce bottles, had brilliant evening.
Top notch service.top notch food top notch atmosphere. Staff are really freindly and efficient,prices are competitive in some cases a bargin,can't wait to try Sunday lunch and looking forward to visiting again.
