The restaurant has outdoor service for dogs through a window, which is nice. However, the place feels a bit too upscale for snacks like crisps and peanuts. They do offer a great selection of beers, and the staff are very friendly. It would be nice to have something simple like soup or hot potatoes for those of us dining in the garden. Overall, I’d give the service a 5.
Revisited a couple of months ago with some friends ,very impressed great welcome and fantastic food, congratulations to all responsible for such a memorable visit. Spectacular food and the specials (crab and sole) were great. Service was stiff and rushed. Felt pressured to leave by 3pm. Is a restaurant and not a pub. we found the dewdrop random, but everything is out of a ground. we came when a band just started. a pub in a small village that is out of the beaten away deserves use. the menu is not huge, but do not let it turn off. good management and personal are also a bonus
This charming hidden gem of a pub boasts fantastic food and friendly staff. While I'd love to keep it a secret, that would be selfish!
