The Dog And Fox - Tisch resevieren

We eat around the area a lot. The Dog and Fox most definitely gets our vote for the best Sunday Roast. The meat (whatever you choose) is fantastic every time. The veg are always cooked perfectly and the roasters are proper home-made roasters. The pub itself may not be swankey (who wants a swanky pub) but a beautiful old fashioned pub, with open fire in the winter and a lovely atmosphere. The service is quite prompt and has always been top notch. We only wish this was our local.

A group of us met to check out the real ales, and were well pleased with the condition and surroundings. We were made welcome and took up an outdoor table. The Timy Taylors Landlord was guest and in excellent condition, Butcombe and Courage bitters were also available

Easy access, ample parking, large garden with lovely views. Best sandwiches we had had for a very long time, nicely presented with a garnish salad and a small portion of beautifully cooked chips. Reasonable prices, well kept draught beers and ciders, friendly staff

Lovely pub and real wood fire. Cosy atmosphere and pleasant staff. The food was hot and served quickly. Sadly the pork belly was tender but with the additions of the dry ends made it quite and effort to eat. The lamb was tough but everything else was delicious. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

This was a booked following a Google search for a convenient meeting point. What a great find, quite a quaint feel on entering, but the warm friendly welcome was lovely. Just right amount of choice on the lunchtime menu, with our party choosing the Chicken...

We had a lovely evening at this pub. Staff and patrons were super friendly, the food was good, and the atmosphere was great. A proper character English pub! We couldn't find a similar place in Bradford on Avon town. The landlord is very very friendly...

Returning to the UK for the first time in two years, there have been many changes, but this fine country pub is as good as ever. Still serving fantastic great hand pulled drinks, the menu is even better. Hats off to a great landlord and creative chef!

Stopped here for lunch on Saturday afternoon with family. Had sandwiches and a plough mans very nice food big portions sandwiches included a pot of fries and salad. Nice country feel with fire and wood beams. Would recommend. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
