this is a very old pub in soho. we have bumped into this place, as the restaurant we planned to eat did not take bookings and we waited for half an hour for the table. good place for just one drink and as a spot for it is easy to find. it has an old charm, but it needs to refurbish. Nevertheless, we had a nice time here and I would go again if we wait for a table in a restaurant or as a pub-hop spot.
I only came here because the other restaurant didn't serve food. I regret not choosing a different place. The fish was not good at all - the batter was thick and soggy. My daughter's chicken bites were overcooked and almost burnt. She could only eat one and couldn't finish the rest. The pie crust was too pale and undercooked. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience. I would not come back.
We called in for a quick drink and found the staff and the customers very friendly. The pub itself it not that large but as it was a hot day people were outside drinking. We didn't have any food but what we saw come out looked really nice. There was also a small dining room upstairs. The stairs down to the Gents toilets are a bit steep so you need to be very careful.
a very traditional pub with most decor well preserved in one of the smallest stains I had ever had the pleasure of going for a drink. the atmosphere was sister and loud - as one would expect and hoped in a pub, while the regular after the work quantity is freezing in for a cold. fun. I was overwhelmed by the crowd at this place. The place was packed and no even standing room was available unless you don't mind drinking outside the pub on the street. Beer on tap selection was good, but the serving staff was a little overworked and it showed by their attitude.
This is a brilliant traditional pub tucked behind the main high street. The atmosphere is excellent the staff are superb. This is the best pub in Palmers Green
Linda is amazing! She is kind and welcoming, and really made our experience special. The food was exceptional and this place is definitely one to remember.

Lovely pub, very quaint. the service from Linda was excellent and the food was spot on. would recommend going here and we would definitely go back
