If you find yourself in this little town and want some great english hospitality, food and drink then this is the place. Sunday lunch is amazing, all home cooked and fresh, lamb, beef or chicken there's always 3 choices of meat to choose from or a bit of each, extra gravy if required.Nothing is too much trouble for this family..even your dog gets a lunch..there or to takeaway ...also fish n chips Friday is one not to miss, there's home made pies, scampi, etc...and of course mushy peas, curry sauce, gravy. Great little find and will be back for sure when we return to Santiago de la Ribera..thank you Kate, Linda and Neil for making us feel at home..You guys are amazing.
We visited these premises only once during out ten days in Le Ribera mainly because we didn't enjoy ourselves whilst there and the food was ok but not brilliant. I understand that this is the only British type place in the area serving british food and beer well ok that's fine but we didn't enjoy our food I'm afraid hence we never returned. I hope you read this review and try to up your game,you should be busy but it didn't seem it to me even on the occasions when I walked past.
Este bar inglés era excelente con los dueños anteriores, una calidad en la comida sublime y un trato a la par. No obstante, con los nuevos dueños no hemos vuelto a pisarlo, han DUPLICADO, los precios, sin temor ninguno además. Amtotalmente inaceptable para los precios que hay alrededor en la Ribera, desde luego, han perdido numerosísimos clientes con esta última medida.
Nos han dicho que no podían servirnos comida, porque habían cerrado la cocina, y era mentira. Vimos cómo le han servido a otros clientes que han llegado después de nosotros. Increíble que en este siglo siga existiendo gente racista, y más absurdo aún, que estén en un país que no es el suyo y se atrevan a tanto. Pésimo.

The 2 ladies couldn't have been friendlier. We had young kids and they went above and beyond to ensure they were looked after. The food was lovely and the beers flowed. If you are looking for a relaxed environment, food and a few beers, this is the place. Thanks for a great evening.
Highly recommend. Have eaten here several times. Never disappointed. Recently had lasagne and on another evening chilli con carne. Best chilli I have ever had. Thankyou to Catherine and Phyllis
