thank you for your reply… in fact the dog poo was there for 2 hours after i raised the issue. customers stood in it and had to go home to change their shoes…. you miraculously ‘disappeared’ when we wanted to talk to you and you left it with very junior staff…you did not move your car!…. but we will return as its a nice pub and maybe this was just an unfortunate error on your part… i think you should have come to discuss it yourself and apologise to us and the other customers who were also very unhappy
We were made to feel very welcome, we reserved a table for five right next to the bar. The waitress and bar manager service was excellent! We have not had a meal at the dog for a while and the roast was the best yet! Lots of fresh vegetables with cauliflower cheese was superb! The chocolate brownie and the chocolate peacon pie were delicious and all the deserts went down a storm. Please pass on our thanks to the chef best in stansted by far!! Thank you
Rang to make a booking and was told they were fully booked, went elsewhere and ended up in the D&D to watch the 6 nations match about an hour later, there was only 6-7 people in the whole pub including the staff
Lovely pub. Real ale is on form (Timothy Taylor's, abbot ale). Often has some entertainment and all the usual sports available. Nice outside seating areas. Classic pub grub available Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Best pub and grub in StanstedMountfitchet. Bar staff and owner very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit. We will be going back for sure.
Friends brought us here for dinner on our last night in the UK. We had a lovely meal, great pub food and the service was good, staff very friendly.
A wonderful time had by all. Thank you to all the friendly staff 60th birthday buffet superb. Thoroughly recommended.
