When I arrived, Jerome was there as usual, wearing a smile, along with his friendly staff who are always quick and helpful while you wait. My order came out promptly and was piping hot, fresh from the fryer. The chips were perfectly cooked, and the fish was absolutely delicious. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions. The fish is massive, and the batter is light and crispy (I’d love to get the recipe for that batter, but Jerome keeps it a secret!). I used to deliver round here about 2 years ago and get my dinner from this place, was always beautiful food and the owner always says hello and thanks you for coming. Been popping back in recently to sample the food again haha and it's exactly the same, brilliant food and service and the owner is the same says hi and thanks for coming every time. Spot on place to eat. Also do small fish and chips for the kids. 5 star.
The fish cake was beautiful and absolutely fantastic! If you prefer, you can opt for the smaller portion of fish and chips, but the regular size is quite generous, with plenty of chips. The service was warm and friendly. I highly recommend this place!
