The Dorset Inn - Tisch reservieren

My boyfriend and I needed a place to stay for one night while visiting family, and I chose The Dorset because of its convenient parking and reasonable prices. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised by the low cost of the car park (we only had to pay until Monday morning). The staff were very helpful, showing us to our room and how to access it from the back door. We made a reservation for Sunday lunch at this restaurant, expecting a traditional roast dinner like we used to enjoy before lockdowns. However, upon arrival, we were informed that they had stopped serving roasts two weeks prior, but would be offering them again in October. The current Sunday menu mainly featured burgers and chips, which was not what we had in mind for our meal. I decided to instead have a starter and dessert. The cod goujons with tartare sauce starter was underwhelming, with the sauce lacking flavor but the batter on the goujons being crispy and delicious. My friend and I stayed at the Dorset for night. We were greeted by the staff who were polite and helpful, they were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend to friends and family to visit or stay there.The rooms...were clean and tidy anything we needed could ask the staff. My friend and I chose food from the menu and it was really good. Went away satisfied and with a full tummy. . Staff are lovely helpful, chatty and friendly, was lovely to stay in a happy place. The staff need to be praised for their hard work and making us feel welcomed and comfortable.

The food was beautifully presented and the flavors were exceptional. The staff were attentive, although a few seemed dismissive. The local beer was fantastic and the bar was clean and tidy. Tables were promptly cleared and the garden was well-maintained. Definitely worth a visit.

Stayed on a Saturday night and there was a great feel to the pub! Adam and his staff are doing a great job of making the place COVID friendly and the rooms are well decorated and very spacious! Great stay!
