I've been driving past the druid for years before I decide to drive from wrexham a day. there is something that is quite tempting over the stone walls, they give the impression of roaring fires and fine ales in the inner. when I finally got into the fires it was there. it was a lunch time in the summer so that they didn't run too hard, but the place was still quite busy and had a pleasant atmosphere. our baby daughter was made very welcome and eating was the usual pub clip well cooked. they even had a loyality scheme so they could get a free meal after 5 visit. I'm sure I'm going back.
Truly saddened to write this given the time but this is necessary. You CANNOT charge £13 for microwaved chicken that it so tough you cannot cut through it with a knife. I'm happy to support businesses as much as possible but it needs to go both ways. I sent it back only to be given another microwaved chicken and a cerated knife. We can all tell. It was beyond tough and utterly unacceptable. If Wetherspoon can grill some chicken theres no excuse. I'm so disappointed as I've had nice meals here historically.
We had a wonderful evening at The Druid Inn. My partner and I were searching for a nearby place to enjoy dinner that would also welcome our dog, and we were delighted with our choice. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, making us and our dog feel right at home. The venue was clean, and our food arrived in a timely manner. Everyone was so nice, and we left with smiles on our faces. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Lovely Food and good value for money,we used the eat out to help out,but will eat here again even when the offer is not on.The staff are very friendly and the service was quick and food was delicious...Lovely friendly atmosphere.We were a party of 4 and had 3 courses,which was only £15 each plus 2 £5s supplement because 2 of our party had steak. Despite the restaurant being fully booked, they managed to find a spot for us, which we greatly appreciated. We enjoyed a wonderful family meal with fabulous food and excellent service. There was a great selection for vegetarians as well, and the desserts were the best! We can't wait to visit again.
The Sunday roast was fantastic, but what truly enhanced the afternoon was the exceptional service from every staff member, especially Michelle. High five!
Poor sevice and had to send an over cooked steak back, gluten intolerant people use this place with caution. Will not be going back. Pudding was nice.
