I just moved nearby and I said we should try this place , I parked the car and made our way to the entrance , to be honest you feel like you step back in time , old decor,furniture and equipment, we made our way towards a table passing past some staff members, no1 greeting you or explaining how the breakfast service works. I went to the bar and paid for breakfast and drinks and went back to the table . I went to get the breakfast and again no good morning or any other gesture to make u fell welcome , the food ... well u can guess how hot the food was if the butter didn't melt on the toast, sausages dry and cheap quality, bacon was OK , some was dry crispy and some not so well done , beans ok...

I called in on Thursday 18th of January at around 6.30. This is a venue that I've visited many times and once again it did not fail to disappoint. A well presented carvery; pork, gammon or beef were on offer. I opted for the pork, delicious. A good choice of veg too and it was good to see both leeks and swede on offer. All in all, great value and highly recommended for a mid week roast dinner.

The carvery at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic and very reasonably priced. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and when it came time to pay, we were pleasantly surprised by how affordable our bill was. Highly recommend!

This restaurant offers a great value menu with carvery options. While the food is good, there is a limited selection of real ales available. The function room is a unique and appealing venue for weddings and parties.

Went with family on Sunday for a birthday catch up food was great all the staff was hard working the manager Samantha couldn't help us enough so friendly and helpful
