I visited on September 17, 2021, to celebrate my wedding, and I can only say positive things about this restaurant! From the very first visit, I felt right at home. Wendy, the manager, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and supportive, helping to make my day as special as I had hoped. The food was not only beautifully presented but also tasted fantastic! They even created a special menu for me and my guests. I am thrilled with the entire experience, and I’m sure I’ll return in the future!
I visited a cozy pub in Tadworth for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, and the large outdoor garden was a great place to relax. Although the beer prices were a bit high considering we're just outside of London, it was still worth it. The menu offered a wide variety of options, with a separate area for dining. I ordered the mixed grill, which was perfectly cooked and arrived promptly. Overall, it was a delightful visit!
This was our first time here. A lovely traditional pub with friendly staff. There was a local community feel about the place but we were made to feel very welcome. Service was efficient and not too intrusive. The food we ordered was good qaulity there is a good selection of traditional pub choices plus some nice specials. A good selection of beers and lagers. Overall we had a really good lunch and will definitely be back
Fantastic family run pub, good meal selection and some are a slight slant on the traditional pub food. I would suggest phone and book as they are not very big. I had to book 2 weeks in advance. They don't really have a kids menu, which is the only drawback as we had to order 2 adult meals to feed 3 kids. the first time in this fabulous restaurant and it lived definitiw up to our expectations. we hadn't booked, but they took us away with a smile. the team was so attentive and so friendly. eating was really good, we had a bark meat and a truthahnbread that were very generous portions and really delicious. will be absolutely back, thank you
Fits the bill perfectly for a Sunday roast with a group of friends. Food was spot on with generous portions and the menu was varied. Staff were friendly and the Dukes Head Larger and IPA were decent. Dropping a star as would have liked a bit more time at the table and it was a bit on the cosy side. Will definitely come back again.
We visited this place for drinks and focused on the small appetizers. Even though we only sampled the appetizers, they were delicious, and we will likely return for dinner!
