A cozy Irish pub with good food and atmosphere and great bartenders! The Reuben was great but a little dry. Bartender was happy to add extra sauce and did not charge for the extra (thank you). The Sheppards Pie had a great flavor and the coleslaw was well above average (per the person who ate that). 4 stars because there are some things that should not be charged for, like $2 for a slice of rye bread (2-pieces) to sop up the rest of the Paddy's Reuben Dip. The dip had an awesome reuben flavor though it was a little soupy and hard to not dribble off the bread and onto your hand and lap, hence the need for extra bread. My girlfriend and I used to love this place, but I say "used to" because our last experience with the bartender was incredibly disappointing. I ordered a shot and enjoyed it, then mentioned to my girlfriend that I felt a little tipsy. The bartender abruptly told me he hoped I wasn't driving that night, and if I was, he wouldn't serve me anything else. I explained that we planned to stay long enough to sober up, but he still refused to serve us. We eventually moved to the basement, where he then reminded us, in a much friendlier tone, to keep an eye on our drinks. I was shocked by how I was treated at what I used to think of as a great restaurant. Now, I see it for what it really is: mediocre...
Great, plentiful outdoor seating around the side and back. We waited quite a while (about 30 minutes before someone approached our table to offer menus or take a drink order, but that was probably the only slightly annoying thing about being there. The food was good, other patrons were friendly as were the servers, and I'll add it was very dog friendly, they even moved one of the water bowls they provide closer to our table for my friends dog. : Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We held our rehearsal dinner at the Dullahan in their outdoor area, and it was a tremendous success. Alongside their delicious Irish cuisine, they were able to arrange fantastic gluten-free and vegan options so that all our guests could partake. Justyn assisted us in organizing axe throwing for our guests, along with live music. It turned out to be an unforgettable evening, complete with a wonderful atmosphere and excellent service.
No, I did not get the food this time. I have previously and did enjoy it. They have a great beer selection, and a cozy interior. While I was there, there was live music in the basement but I chose to sit upstairs away from it and they sound, and Carry which is a plus. The staff was friendly and quick to greet me. If you are looking for an Irish pub, this has a really good vibe to it.
Dynamite Downtown Pub You can get some very solid Irish- inspired food here while enjoying their ample tap list. The man loved the Irish whiskey options available. We came for happy hour and had full bellies when we left. Be sure to try the shepherd’s pie. It’s something very special. The atmosphere and service are phenomenal. This is probably the best bar in LO.
We had a great time on St. Patrick's day. The food was okay and everything was reasonably priced. The corned beef dish was great but the pulled pork sandwich was lacking. Too little pork and zero sauce. I have to put ketchup and mustard on it to even eat it. Still, the pork was good, not dry itself...but combined with a dry bun, it was rough. New Years 2022, the bartender wearing the yellow knitted sweater was super rude, ruined the atmosphere. Then one of the cooks came out and took half a pitcher of beer back to the kitchen. This places seems like it’s run pretty loose and I question the cleanliness, I wouldn’t want to order any food here.
