The East Hill - Tisch resevieren

I have to say in terms of a London locals pub, I am very jealous of the people who actually live right by this one! The size, atmosphere and location make for a lovely hidey hole that i would gladly make mine for a regular pint and a read or a catch up with a friend any day. I visited last week on a very busy afternoon lunch with some work colleagues and we were concerned as we had to be somewhere, about whether we had time to eat or not. We were greeted and re-assured instantly by a smiley chap who showed us to the (lucky last) table. Was in town for a few days and stumbled across this pub, was well looked after by helpful staff and the food was really nice. Will definitely return when I'm back in the area Thanks very much!

a firm favorite. the staff is always friendly and courteous, eating is fantastic (a little expensive) and it is always quieter than the alma. a really adult pub.
